This
famous theme park started as a berry stand outside Carl
Knott’s
farm.
This berry stand turned into a chicken dinner restaurant and over the
years, more and
more attractions were added to bring in new customers, including a fake
volcano and gold mine. This became what is now the Ghost
Town portion
of the park and is actually the entrance to the Ghost Rider
rollercoaster. As they expanded over the years, the attention turned away from their chicken dinner restaurant and moved towards these themed attractions. Knott’s Berry Farm now contains five themed areas: Ghost Town: Knott's Berry Farm's Ghost Town is the first themed area of the park, with its creation dating back to the original chicken dinner and Boysenberry jam restaurant. Now it is home to Ghost Rider, Silver Bullet, and several other roller coasters. Fiesta Village: Fiesta Village has 4 main rides, the Waveswinger, the Hat Dance, La Revolucion, and Dragon Swing, all of which share an old Mexican architecture and design. The Boardwalk: The Boardwalk is home to two of the most adventurous rides, Supreme Scream and the Xcelerator. Other Rides include their bumper cars, Boomerang, and Perilous Plunge, a wet and wild water ride. Camp Snoopy: Home to Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts Gang, Camp Snoopy is targeted at the younger children. Rides such as the Grand Scenic Railroad, the Ferris Wheel, and the Timberline Twister are all family friendly. Indian Trails: The smallest of all the themed areas, Indian Trails offers a glimpse into the history of American Indians and their way of life. Ticket Info: Knott's Berry Farm has several different pricing methods. Regular single day tickets, Online tickets, and Southern California resident ticket deals.
