California Screaming California Adventure's largest rollercoaster, California Screaming takes you on a ride starting at Paradise Pier with a sling shot like take off that sends you hurling over the steel track. California Screaming offers great views from the top, right before you plummet into its winding, adrenaline pumping curves and upside-down loop through Mickey Mouse's silhouette.
Located: Paradise Pier
Height Requirement: 48 inches/ 122 cm or taller

Grizzly River Run: This white water rafting trip takes you down the Sierra Mountains through abandoned mines, caverns, and under waterfalls. With rapids flushing you down quickly, this bumpy ride will have you twisting and turning as you get doused with water as it splashes over the edge of your raft or rains down from the overhead waterfalls.
Located: Golden State
Height Requirement: 42 inches/ 106 cm or taller

Maliboomer: Blast off with this oversized "high striker" carnival game as you shoot 18 stories straight up-then straight down. 4 seconds after blastoff all the bells start clamoring and the lights start flashing while you get a phenomenal view of much of Orange County, the ocean, and the San Bernardino Mountains; but take it in quickly because your moment at the top is brief, and followed by a 180 foot free fall.
Located: Paradise Pier
Height Requirement: 52 inches/ 132 cm or taller

Mulholland Madness: Modeled after the famous Mulholland Drive connecting LA and Malibu, Mulholland Madness takes curves, and dips to a whole new level. While most kids get a kick out of this, often times their parents find it straining. Three stories up in the air, this ride really does give the feeling that you're about to go over the edge.
Located: Paradise Pier
Height Requirement: 42 inches/ 106 cm or taller

Soarin' over California: One of California Adventure's most popular rides, Soarin' over California lifts riders off the ground in a simulated hang glider. The huge surround curved screen truly immerses the rider in many of California's greatest landmarks, while their feet dangle off the ground, wind blowing in their hair, and smells fill the air as they travel over orange groves, Yosemite National Park, Southern California Beaches, San Francisco, and over 20 other famous sites.
Located: Golden State
Height Requirement: 40 inches/ 102 cm or taller

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: A once luxurious Hollywood hotel is now home to one of the most terrifying thrill rides in California Adventure. Load into an old elevator shaft and discover this abandoned hotel's history and how it gets its dreadful name. A full view of the entire California Adventure Park from 13 stories up is short lived as you actually drop faster than the speed of gravity as your sucked back into the heart of the hotel and repeatedly launched upward and dropped back down.
Located: Hollywood Pictures Backlot
Height Requirement: 40 inches/ 102 cm or taller

The Sun Wheel: This 16 story Ferris wheel offers two completely different rides. The traditional stationary gondola is a peaceful way to view the park from above, whereas the swinging and sliding gondolas actually slide around as the wheel rotates, giving thrill seekers their much needed jolt of adrenaline.
