Disneyland
Resort's 2001 addition of California Adventure brought rides
targeted to both a higher age group and entire families who had both
smaller children and teenagers. California Adventure is separated from
Disneyland by Downtown Disney, an outdoor mall with no admission price
loaded with unique and theme oriented stores and restaurants such as
House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe, Build-A-Bear, and ESPN
Zone.
The atmosphere in California Adventure is much different than
Disneyland as well. Disneyland is themed to its movies and to young
children, while California Adventure is for obvious reasons based off
the different lifestyles of California. With a small scale Golden Gate
Bridge, a boardwalk modeled after Santa Monica and Venice Beach, and a
mountainous raft ride down the Sierras, California Adventure attempts
to encompass all aspects of Californian life that diversify it from the
other 49 states. Like Disneyland, California Adventure is split into
different regions: Sunshine plaza, Hollywood Pictures Backlot, A
Bug's Land, Golden State, Paradise Bay and Paradise Pier.The
Rides: The rides are the main attraction at
California Adventure, and
they are found spread evenly throughout the different regions of the
Park.

Admission: Disneyland Resorts offers many different ticket and vacation packages. Park Hopper tickets, grant admission to both Disneyland and California Adventure, and multiple day tickets are available as well as Disneyland Resort vacation packages where they will organize air travel, hotel reservations, and Park admission tickets.
